Part 9 – Using the Wasabi360 to play ISO Files
This is Part 9 of a 10 Part tutorial on the different aspects of playing backup ISO files on an XBOX 360. In Part 9, I will explain how to use the Wasabi360 to play the ISO files that were obtained from owned media based on the previous 8 steps.
How to use the Wasabi360 - General
1. Hook USB/eSATA External Enclosure to Computer
2. Copy the .ISO ABGX completed file to the External Hard Drive
3. Hook External Drive eSATA to Wasabi360
4. Make sure the switch is in the correct position
a. Emulation Mode = Using eSATA Drive, not DVD Drive
Using the Emulation Mode on the Wasabi360
Basic Idea how it works (Without the DVDMenu Util)
1. Make sure “Home” says “Mixed Media Disc”. If it does not, use the “Y” to eject the ISO that could possibly be mounted. If you DVD drive ejects, something is wrong or you are in Pass-through mode.
2. To open an ISO, you browse to Video Player
3. Open “Current Disc”
4. Browse the list, pick a game you want
5. Go back to the Home menu and click the “Y” to “Inject” the ISO.
a. You should see the game in the “Home”. Just click Play. It should work properly
6. If you cannot see a game after injecting and it still says “Mixed Media Disc” it is likely your ISO is no good. Run it through the ABGX with fixes, hopefully you get no RED during this operation.
